We’ve waited an additional month, but NiceCoder has released IndexU Deluxe 1.30. It contains a bunch of bug fixes along with some minor new features. I haven’t had the chance to look at it yet, but I’m pretty sure the Admin area template has been redone which makes it look and feel alot better.

IndexU Deluxe v1.30 is a major release and contains the following fixes and updates
- Bugfix – idx2phpbb plugin (error checking)
- Bugfix – Database import (error checking)
- Bugfix – Cronjobs
- Bugfix – .htaccess (commented out Options which causes issues on some servers)
- Bugfix – sestat plugin (yahoo links were not being counted)
- Bugfix – handle links in format ansi and utf-8
- Bugfix – added default page rank image if no PR has been fetched yet
- Bugfix – Small fix to Moneybookers payment module

Addition

- Ability to block websites by their nameserver domain (to eliminate “parked” webpages from being submitted)
- Addition – New admin panel (screenshot attached)
- Addition – New languages – Portuguese and Danish

Changes were also made to the following items

- Checkurl for bad link
- Discount Coupon Payment
- Select option of category link on add, modify, upgrade
- Plugin class
- new hooks on filter.lib.php
- Kosmos template

As an update to my previous post regarding IndexU Deluxe 1.2.1 and the Kosmos theme bug… It would seem the issue has been addressed in IndexU Deluxe 1.3, which is currently in beta testing right now. Barring any unexpected problems, I’m expecting 1.3 to be released probably sometime this week. But please, dont hold me feet to the fire on that one!

Deluxe 1.3 is mainly a bug fixer. Dont expect any major features to be released. Although, NiceCoder has been doing a nice job of putting out additional templates and plugins on their IndexUTemplates.com site. If your not a member of the site, I highly suggest it.

I’ll make an announcement here once 1.3 is released.
