Admin Account in IndexU Deluxe 1.3.3

NiceCoder released IndexU Deluxe 1.3.3 today. For those upgrading their current directories, you might find that you can no longer access the Admin panel with your normal username and password. This isn’t a bug.

NiceCoder made a change in version 1.3.3 that passwords now use md5. In order to do that, the password on the Admin account needed to be change.

After upgrading, login to the Admin panel with username = ‘Admin’ and password = ‘admin’. You’ll notice this is the default username and password for IndexU Deluxe when doing a fresh / new install.

NiceCoder releases WPDirectory Pro 1.1

NiceCoder quickly released an update to WPDirectory Pro today. Version 1.1 is mainly a bug fix with a few new things in the backend…

Added features
- Add license key in admin panel (now saved in the database)
- Edit the welcome text in the admin panel
- Feature for importing data
- Feature for exporting data
- New interface for updating category path, update number of links and updating page rank.

To update wpdir, you can replace your current wpdir with this new package. After that you must deactivate your wpdir plugin and activating again.

To update wpdir tag cloud, you can replace your current wpdir tag cloud with this new package. After that you must deactivate your wpdir tag cloud plugin and activate again.

 I’ll probably be updating the Video Tutorial for WPDirectory Pro so that it reflects the key being in the Admin panel.

The plugin isn’t as full featured as IndexU Deluxe, but it you ever wanted to add a Link Directory to your Blog, this is the way to do it. IndexU Deluxe 1.31 Released

Two announcements in one night from NiceCoder….

Nicecoder is proud to announce that IndexU Deluxe v1.31 has been released.

IndexU Deluxe v1.31 is a bugfix release and contains the following fixes and updates
- Bugfix - Fixed admin menu not staying open after clicking on a link
- Bugfix - Fixed an issue with the sitemap when run by crom
- Bugfix - Fixed an issue with the sitemap using $date instead of $last_mod

Unfortunately since SVN is down I am not able to compile a list of fixes. I’ll get a list for you as soon as I can.

Second Template For Month of February

Network Outage…

Today, much to our surprise, our Network Operation Center ( NOC ) had some technical difficults that resulted in some downtime. As far as we can tell, the downtime was between 2 - 3 hours. The NOC has since corrected the issue and all servers are back on-line again.

We pride ourselves in being able to offer the best web hosting experience possible with little to NO downtime. Unfortunately, this situation was beyond our control.
